Matthew Curry is an American rock and roots musician from Bloomington, Illinois. He began playing guitar at the age of four with encouragement from his father and quickly discovered a passion for music. Naturally left-handed, his first guitar was a simple right-handed model that he flipped upside down, shaping the foundation of his unique playing style.
Largely self-taught, Matthew developed his skills by playing along with artists such as ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughan, whose influence continues to inspire his sound. Today he performs with a left-handed Eric Clapton Signature Fender Stratocaster, delivering energetic performances that blend raw rock power with the soul of the blues.
